Steve Madden Women's Judgemnt Knee-High Boot Review

Steve Madden, the company, was founded by Steve Madden, the man, in 1990 in Brooklyn, where he started out making trend-advancing shoes one pair at a time. It was not long after that the Steve Madden focus on "now-ness" earned rave reviews from young female fans mad for the funky, chic, and yet competitively priced footwear it produced. The company popularized the "dressy sneaker," and continues to man the forefront of trends.

Fleur-de-lis detailing at the back lends an elegant touch to the otherwise down-and-dirty attitude of Steve Madden's Judgemnt boot. Pull-on construction with harness at the ankle. Distressed leather upper with manmade lug sole.

Steve Madden leather Judgment Boiots
These are nice boots for kicking around in jeans or leggins. The contrasting design running up the back of the boots gives them a unique touch. The only thing that would make me like them better is if the black were more of a darker black. I get compliments everytime I wear them.

Judgement Boots
I absolutely love these boots. I am 5'3" and I have normal legs, not super thin, not thick. These boots come just below my knee and are NOT annoying at all. They are a great length. When I sit, I can feel them in the back of my knee, but again, not annoying or anything that would deter me from wearing them. They have an awesome worn look, like they walked a mile already. They are comfy, not bulky, and they aren't "cluggers"...I walk around in them quietly (I don't like when boots are loud and stompish). I am a 7 1/2 and ordered exactly that size and they fit like a glove.

As expected
These boots were exactly as expected. They are adorable and exactly the look I was going for! I read a lot of reviews about the length and fit so I felt it was only fair to share my experience. I wear a size 8 99% of the time but ordered an 8-1/2 in these due to the reviews I read and the fact that it does not have a zipper. I'm glad I did because I think an 8 would have been difficult to get on and off. Since they are boots the tiny bit of extra toe room isn't noticeable and they do not feel too big. After reading reviews I was mostly worried they would be too tall and hit the back of my knee. I'm 5'5" w/ avg length legs for my height and I do think they are just a *touch* too tall but not enough to return/dislike. It was mostly noticeable when I sat and the edge does curl a bit, but it doesn't make the boot look bad especially since it's a more distressed causual boot anyway.
