Timberland Men's Earthkeepers Rugged Boot Review

The Timberland Men's Earthkeepers Rugged Original Leather Boot helps you traverse rugged terrain while reducing your ecological footprint. This heavy-duty boot is constructed from seam-sealed waterproof leather, so feet will stay dry and comfortable in any weather. These boots include an anti-fatigue footbed for all-day comfort, plus eco-conscious such as a 42-percent recycled rubber outsole and lining and laces made from 100-percent recycled plastic bottles.

Timberland Earthkeepers Rugged Boots are constructed from full-grain waterproof leather and seam-sealed for added protection from the elements. A six-inch shaft and padded collar protect your ankles while keeping debris out. The leather originates from a tannery rated Silver by the Leather Working Group for its improved water, energy, and waste-management practices.

Designed for people who spend long stretches on their feet, the Timberland Earthkeepers Rugged Boot contains a removable footbed with molded, inverted cones that absorb shock and provide energy return for all-day comfort and support.

The boot's mesh lining and laces are made from 100-percent recycled polyethylene terephthalate--the plastic used in soda bottles--making the boots durable as well as environmentally conscious. In addition, 42 percent of Timberland's Gripstick and Green Rubber outsole is made from recycled rubber.

Sustainable Comfort in a Rugged Boot
The Earthkeeper boots are made of eco-friendly materials that look and feel great. The inside is soft with good waterproof insulation and a comfort sole that protects your foot. For a rugged boot they are surprisingly light. The construction quality seems very high; after wearing for a few weeks it seems like they would last for years.

Did exactly what i needed
I had to drag a body through the woods for about 2 miles to be sure to have it hidden. They held well, even the reviews about the shoe laces i seemed to disbelieve, they held up fine for the terrain i took them through. I trudged through creek beds, up rocks, and over multiple fallen trees. Not to mention the 8 foot hole i had to dig in the mud seeing as its cold, they even kept my feet warm. Over all quite impressed with the comfort level. Would recommend to anyone on a mission.
