my laptop doesnt have the built in newtorking, andi was wondering what the prices of the cards are and the prices of the modem is. and if i would have to have someone to install it? or is it easy to install? is so…how much will that cost me?

You can get a wireless router and either a pciama card or a usb for the laptop. <$ 100 check at office depot.
Set up you router and then install driver in laptop and have the laptop look for available wireless networks and enable.
Internal wireless cards are easy to install, you just have to get the right one and the antenae. Good luck
i dont have the complete what exactly the setup ur looking for !!!! if it is a small network !!! u can go for the intex router which r very cheap !!! & reliable !! it depends on the Network Engineer how much he want to charge!!!! if ur layman in networking then i will suggest u not to install the setup by ur self !!! coz it will be really very difficult for u to troubleshoot if ne problem occur’s….. Yes, they do. According to my computer buying experience, closer the school starts, the better computer deals you can get. So wait until early August if you can. Beware that I could be wrong. Sometime some computers only go on sale once.
